Graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) specializing in Special Education, Doctor of the Medical School of EKPA. The subject of the dissertation is “Intercultural comparisons of cyberbullying between European countries”. The seven-member examination committee recommended the award of the doctoral degree with Excellence.

Since 2010, she has been a Scientific Associate of the Adolescent Health Unit (AHU), 2nd Department of Pediatrics of the Children’s Hospital “P. & A. Kyriakou ” in the diagnosis of learning difficulties, the noometric evaluation using the psychometric tools WISC-IV for adolescents and WAIS-V for young adults, as well as in the counseling and psychological support of children and adolescents. She was also a representative of the “I Support” Telephone Support Line for a period of five (5) years. The Line was aimed at teens and their families, providing support and advice on issues related to the use of the Internet, mobile phones and online games (harassment, addiction, harmful content, pedophilia, etc.). In addition, the psychologist provided psychological support and socialization to people with disabilities (PWDs) and volunteered services in an early intervention program for children with autism and DAD and specifically in socialization programs of the Association “Victor – Artant Niki” at N. Attica. She offered internships and volunteer work to the Chronic Diseases Hospital of East Attica with the object of psychological support and monitoring of the institutional care of the center.

At the same time, she has developed research work on adolescence, the sexual habits of Greek adolescents, Internet addiction behaviors, eating disorders, bullying, etc.

She has made presentations on the above topics in pan-Hellenic and European conferences, workshops and seminars for parents, teachers and teenagers. It is a member of the European Partnership for the Safety of Children and Adolescents on the Internet (www.enacso.eu). In addition, she holds a training certificate from the “Ariadne” Program, for the phenomenon of “addiction” of adolescents on the Internet, as well as for the dangers faced by children and adolescents from the uncontrolled use of the Internet.
